Partner Support Printer- Confidental Printing Guide
This guide will show you how to setup Confidental Printing which will require a PIN to allow your documents to be printed. Providing you have installed the new printer on your PC/Laptop if not please follow this guide https://dentex.freshservice.com/support/solutions/articles/26000084222 before completing the below.
1- Go to control panel on your PC, you can click start and type to search "Control Panel"
2- You will then see the below which means you are in "Control Panel", we now need to change to view of the icons select on the top-right "View By" and select "Small Icons"
3- Now that the view has changed you will be able to see "Devices and Printers" if you click into this,
4- Now locate the Partner Support Printer, "Epson WF-C879R Series"
5- Right click the Epson WF-C879R Series Printer, select "Printing Preferences"
6- You will now be presented with the below,
7- Select the "More Options" tab and then "Job Type" it will show a drop down box like below select "Confidental Job"
8- Now select "Settings" on the right- you will see the below, simply enter a 4 digit code and press "OK", now you have setup confidental printing with you own pin code.
9- Now if you select a document to print from your Laptop/PC, I will show you how to enter your pin and select your job at the printer, you will see the below screen at the printer,
10- Select the arrow which will move the screen to the right,
11- Once the screen has moved the right, you will see "Confidential Job" select this.
12- As you have printed a job it will show up with your name, select your name
13- Here simply enter your 4 digit code which you set above,select "OK"
14- Your print Job will show then select "Print"
Your prints will now print out securely with your own 4 digit code,
